The Acorn Classes have celebrated all week long!  Our playground turns into a mini-NIOSA, complete with Acorn Royalty!

King Acorn treats the children to coins and cascarones!  Jo took colorful photographs to document the days!

Enjoy a long weekend, as we are closed Friday for the Battle of Flowers Parade.

The Acorn is celebrating a successful hatch of chicks again this spring!

One of our kindergarten students captured the process in art, depicting the incubator,

the light bulb to keep the eggs warm, the thermometer to measure the temperature,

two yellow chicks and one black chick!

Rich Lange explained the incubation process to the children in all the classes this week.  The eggs are set in the incubators, and we will check to make sure the temperature and humidity are just right.  Rich and Jo will turn the eggs each day.  Our chart will show how the chicks are growing, and on the 21st day, the hatching should begin!
